Dean Purvis is proud to be a founding member of the Ziggurat Theatre Ensemble. A native of Maryland, Dean received a BFA from Southern Methodist University and an MFA from University of Washington's Professional Actor Training Program. Since moving to LA, he has performed in six Ziggurat productions including Chomolungma, Twilight World, the award-winning Aquitania, and the recent critically acclaimed Red Thread.
Other credits include the title role in Coriolanus, Osip in Anton Chekov's Platonov, Paul in Loose Ends, and Cervantes in Man of La Mancha. He has also appeared in several short films as well as on television in Ally McBeal and Chicago Hope.
